Here I was tasked with redesigning a food brand's packaging and I chose Home Run Inn pizza. My focus here was to improve upon the things I liked about their current boxes designs and add elements that would make their brand more recognizable on shelf to consumers. That led me to wanting to find a way to incorporate Chicago and one of Home Run Inn's locations to give it life on the shelf and be associated with Chicago. I also thought the current packaging for their pizza boxes wasn't bad and had some elements in it that I wanted to keep and improve upon in its redesign. The color for each type of pizza was one of things I wanted to improve upon which is why I made the choice to make the front of the box be blended with the color blue and have a blue box around it.
